Prof. Dr. Haldun OĞUZ graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and received his speciality training in Otorhinolaryngology at S.B. Ankara Training and Research Hospital. He worked as a faculty member in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Near East University Faculty of Medicine and High Specialisation University Faculty of Medicine. He was an observer at the Institute of Laryngology and Voice Restoration, Harvard University School of Medicine. He has published over 250 articles and papers in international and national books, journals and conferences. His publications have been cited over 1000 times in international journals. He is currently the Union of European Phoniatricians and the Professional Voice Association. He served as Secretary General of the Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Association between 2010-2014, President and Vice President of the School of Laryngology and Phoniatrics between 2012-2020, and Vice President of the European Academy of Phoniatrics between 2018-2023. He is the editor of the book Clinical Voice Disorders. He has different duties in many journals (advisory board member, referee, English language editor). In 2007, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor and in 2013 he was awarded the title of Professor. Dr Oğuz is currently a faculty member of Lokman Hekim University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Otorhinolaryngology. He is fluent in English, married and has two children.
